Gnome ognomen the Roam

The NBBA will be holding a “Gnome of the Roam” hunt from Nov 27th – Dec 20th. Cards can be picked up at David’s Deli with participating businesses that will host one of 25 Gnomes, find the Gnome at each location in New Buffalo, have the business mark it off your list, when your card is complete enter to win a holiday gift basket filled with goodies from our local retailers and services. Open to all needlecrafts – sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, quilting, etc. A perfect place to work on those unfinished projects, or start something new you’ve been thinking about for awhile! No sign ups, you may come and go as you please. Please bring all of your own equipment (includes sewing machines) there will be no materials provided. Nessa is an exciting new Celtic fusion ensemble, led by flutist/vocalist Kelly McDermott, featuring top talent from Southeastern MI. “Ancient Song Discovery Project Volume One,” highlights a dynamic array of newly-arranged ancient Celtic ballads and folk songs from the U.K. The group was featured at the Motor City Irish Festival and Saline Celtic Festival in Summer 2015. In addition, “Beautiful Woman” (original music by Kelly McDermott) has been featured on WXPN radio Philadelphia as part of the “Amazon Country” radio show hosted by Debra D’Alessandro.
